Great location just two subway stations from Manhattan. The Q and N trains take you directly to best places in NY - Fifth Av, Central Park, Times Sq, Battery Park, Eataly :-).. HD channels on TV including HBO. The hotel is new, very clean rooms, good A/C system. We liked it a lot. The station is just two minutes away and if you want to grab a sandwich on the way to Manhattan, there is a nice little shop/deli just around the corner. The neighborhood, despite its look, is safe and we felt this was good value for the money.

We had an unpleasant situation on site when it turned out our reservation was cancelled despite giving correct credit card details. Since the hotel was fully booked on first night we had to find a different place to stay. We were a bit left on our own at first, but after some discussions with hotel and Booked.net we received the right support. I still do not know who is to blame (Booked.net or hotel), but our first impression (no room in NY at 11pm) was rather bad. Apart from this incident, which had its happy ending, everything was great.

Its location is good and best possible, within short walking distance to Evangel Church. The atmosphere of the hotel is quiet.

Me and my family enjoyed a lot staying at Holiday Inn LIC. My 10 yrs old daughter was too happy cos she could use the swimming pool and gym. We had free internet. Breakfast was too yummy. Its a total boutique type homely hotel. We would like to stay here again.

Just a quick subway ride from Manhattan this is a great find!

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff was welcoming and helpful, and the room was exceptionally clean. The view of Queens and Upper Manhattan from my room was breathtaking. The hotel's location near the train station made it convenient to travel into the city. Plus, there were small local shops nearby. On the subway, it only took three stops to get to 5th Avenue. The breakfast at the hotel's restaurant was fantastic, and the staff there were friendly.

We had a wonderfully comfortable stay at the Holiday Inn Long Island City - Manhattan View. The king room we stayed in had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, central heating, and ironing facilities. The staff, especially the front desk employees, were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Nice room and clean. Buy a weekly travel card if you stay here and travel into town. I did pay as you go and spent twice the $29 for a weekly card. Area looks doggy but no issue the I found.

I liked the silent and clean environment. Everything in the room looked pretty neat and clean.

I did not like the fact that there was almost nothing around the hotel.

The staff were very friendly and let us check in early. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and a good size for the price. The subway is actually about a half block from the hotel too, so really easy to get into the City.

The neighborhood was a little run down, so we were cautious about our safety outside the hotel. Inside the hotel however, we felt perfectly safe. Also the swimming pool is about the size of a pool table, which is not really shown by the photos. And the internet is a tad sluggish but otherwise reliable.
